These triggers, also known as "red lines", include activities such as endangering national security, engaging in espionage or intelligence gathering, and promoting terrorism or extremism.
Activities that Endanger National Security: This includes any activity that could harm China's political security, social stability, or economic development.
Espionage and Intelligence Gathering: Any attempt to collect, provide, sell, or purchase state secrets or intelligence is prohibited.
Promoting Terrorism or Extremism: Any form of behavior that promotes, incites, or supports terrorism or extremism is strictly forbidden.
Illegal Border Crossings: Entering or leaving the country illegally can lead to investigation and potential penalties.
Money Laundering: Any suspicious financial transactions that could potentially be linked to money laundering are subject to investigation.
Cybersecurity Breaches: Any attempt to hack into, damage, or steal data from Chinese networks is illegal.
Illegal Drug Activities: Manufacturing, trafficking, or using illegal drugs can result in severe legal consequences.
Illegal Weapons Possession: Unauthorized possession, sale, or manufacture of weapons is prohibited.
Environmental Pollution: Any activity that seriously pollutes the environment or damages ecological security may be subject to investigation.
Human Trafficking: Any form of human trafficking, including forced labor, sexual exploitation, or organ removal, is strictly prohibited.
These triggers are designed to protect China's national security, social stability, and public interests. They serve as a warning to individuals and organizations operating within China to abide by the law and refrain from engaging in any activities that could potentially violate these triggers. Failure to do so could result in serious legal consequences.
